The validation rule change for VAT registration number is also being applied to the customer sync process (customer profile API PUT /customers/{identity}/kingdeecustomerprofile) as per the new requirements. So if Kingdee sends a customer update where the VAT registration number does not match the expected format (18 alphanumeric characters) for a company registration, the API will reject the request and return a 400 Bad Request error to Kingdee. Just wanted to make you aware of that.

All the Vat related changes in My Digi-key and Customer Profile API are currently available in Test environment. FYI, QA has been end-to-end testing the Vat changes between My Digi-key / Ordering / Customer Profile API in Test env since last week. If all goes well, we will be promoting to Prod later this week.
